As the soccer season winds down, there are a few all-star games in which we participate. On the boys' side, senior forward Gyeong Min Koh and junior defenseman Sosori Borrey were selected to play in the Western New England Preparatory School Soccer Association C/D All-Star game this Sunday at Westminster School at 11:00 AM. Koh played in this game last year, but this is the first time for Soso. There are about 26 players who play in this game, selected from the smaller schools in western New England. Occasionally a few college scouts attend this game, so it is a big deal to those involved.
In addition, two members of the Girls' Soccer team made it to their All-Star game. Senior goalie Toni Johnson and senior forward Kaitlyn Carney were selected to play in the WWNEPSSA C/D All-Star game, also played at Westminster School this coming Sunday at 1:00 PM. Toni played in last year's contest, but this is the first time for newcomer Katie. We all wish these four athletes the best of luck as they proudly represent our school! - Coach Sanchez
